You will find a variety of brunch, lunch and dinner buffets packages, which are custom to your tastes and budget. There are two lovely private dining rooms to accommodate your needs. THE ATRIUM

The Atrium dining room, our main dining area, comfortably seats up to 56 guests, depending on the seating arrangement. Bathed in natural light from its large skylight and beautiful exposed brick, this dining area offers a bright and spacious setting, with lots of lucious live greenery. Perfect for a variety of events including rehearsal dinners, retirement socials, bridal showers or baby showers. With dimensions of 30 feet by 32 feet, the Atrium provides ample room for your friends and family. Reservations for this room are available for a three-hour time frame, with the option to arrive up to one hour prior for decorating. Luncheons may begin as early as 11 am or as late as 1:00 pm, while dinner events may start as early as 5 pm or as late as 7 pm. Lunch, brunch and dinner buffet packages can be viewed below. Please inquire with our friendly event specialists about food and beverage minimums for your event.

• The Atrium can seat up to 56 guests at 9 tables of varying sizes. This set up does not allow extra tables for display purposes. This arrangement is ideal for business gatherings, bus tour groups and rehearsal dinners.

• The Atrium can accommodate up to 42 people for private event such as a graduation party, baby shower or bridal shower. This layout will include a buffet table, dessert table and gift table.

• The Atrium can provide up to 48 seats, with the buffet located just a few steps away in the Irving Café. This layout will still allow space for your gifts and desserts with in the atrium room.

THE PARLOR

The Parlor dining room offers a cozy and intimate setting for private gatherings of up to 36 guests, depending on seating arrangement. Enclosed for privacy, this space is ideal for intimate gatherings, business meetings, or small bridal showers or baby showers. With dimensions of 16 feet by 26 feet, the Parlor provides a charming atmosphere with gold tin ceilings above, windows along the west and decor of vintage Syracuse posters. Reservations for this room are available for a three-hour time frame, with the option to arrive up to one hour prior for decorating. Luncheons may begin as early as 11 am or as late as 1 pm, while dinner events may start as early as 5 pm or as late as 7 pm. Lunch, brunch and dinner buffet packages can be viewed below. • The Parlor room can accommodate up to 36 people for private events such as business luncheons, retirement parties or rehearsal dinners, with a seating arrangement including 4 long tables. This layout does not allow extra tables for display purposes. Don’t worry, the buffet will be conveniently located along the exterior wall of the room near the entrance.

• The parlor will easily seat up to 30 guests for your baby shower, wedding shower or birthday party. This layout will include a gift table and small dessert table. Again the buffet will be located along the exterior wall of the room near entrance.

• Have a small meeting to conduct and need privacy? This room can be rented for a small fee if you have less than 15 guests. Inquire for more information.

PRIVATE EVENT MENUS

Event planning information

Minimum Purchase Requirement

Private events at Phoebe’s require a food‑and‑beverage minimum, which varies based on the day, time, and selected event space. This minimum ensures appropriate staffing and guarantees the room is reserved exclusively for your group. If the required minimum is not met, the remaining balance will be applied as a room fee on the final bill.

Deposit

We require an advanced, non‑refundable deposit for private events. Deposits range from $100–$250, depending on the event space. This deposit secures your event date, staffing, and room reservation. Please note; the deposit is not transferrable and is not refunded if cancelled. The deposit will be deducted from your final bill.

Once the deposit is received, your event/reservation is officially confirmed. Acceptable payment methods include cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MC, Discover, AmEx) over the phone.

Final Guest Count & Event Details

Final guest count, buffet selections, beverage preferences, and any dietary restrictions are due one week prior to the event. The number provided at that time will be considered your minimum guaranteed guest count and will be the lowest number charged, regardless of attendance on the day of the event. This allows us to staff, prepare, and set the room appropriately for your group.

If children will be attending, we kindly ask that they remain within your reserved event space for their safety and out of respect for other guests in the restaurant.

Handicap Accessibility

Our Parlor dining room, Atrium dining room, and restrooms are not handicap/wheelchair accessible due to the age and layout of the building.
A ramp at the front entrance provides access to our café and bar areas. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Beverages

We offer several customizable alcoholic beverage options:
(coffee, hot tea, soft drinks, & juice included)

• Open Bar A fully open bar for your guests. All alcoholic beverages ordered will be added to your final bill.

• Limited Bar You may limit the open bar to specific categories—such as beer and wine only, or non‑alcoholic beverages. Options are fully customizable.

• Mimosa and Bellini Tab based on consumption, $7.50 per drink (available for duration of event, capped amount or specifie time frame).

• Capped Tab You may run an open bar tab up to a set dollar amount (e.g., $300). Once the limit is reached, the bar will convert to a cash bar.

• Cash Bar Guests may order their preferred beverages directly at the bar and pay the bartender individually.

Dessert

You are welcome to bring in a specialty cake, cupcakes, or other celebratory desserts from your favorite bakery (not home‑made). A $25 cake‑cutting fee will apply.You might like to consider our sister property, The Patisserie in Skaneateles, NY for your bakery needs (315.685.2433). They delivery to us daily so no need to worry about that on your big day. Please note that a minimum food and beverage requirement must be met to bring in outside desserts (Patisserie desserts do not count towards our minimum).

We offer dessert platters featuring assorted cookies, brownie bars, and chocolate‑covered strawberries. Whole, house‑made cheesecakes are available for purchase with a minimum five‑day notice. Please inquire about current pricing.

Decorations

We invite you to decorate with balloons, favors, photos, flowers, candles, centerpieces, etc. You may arrive up to one hour prior to your event time to begin decorating. We kindly ask that you do not include confetti or glitter of any kind, and that all decorations are removed upon departure. A $75 clean‑up fee will be applied if confetti or glitter is found.

Any balloon arches must be freestanding, and the layout must be determined prior to the day of the event to ensure proper table arrangements and room setup. If you plan to include a flower bar, please inform us in advance so we can coordinate the most appropriate layout.

Guest tables will be set with our standard ivory linen napkins, water glass, and silverware. As part of our service, we will drape ivory tablecloths on the cake, buffet, and gift tables at no additional charge. Ivory tablecloths for guest tables are available for $5 per cloth. Specialty‑color linen napkins may be added for a flat $20 fee (available colors include: white, ivory, light blue, lavender, soft pink, navy, red, light gray, gold, forest green, cadet blue, seafoam green, burgundy, and black). A two‑week notification is required for any specialty linen requests.

Parking

Phoebe’s does not have a private parking lot. On‑street parking is available on East Genesee Street. A Syracuse University‑owned lot is located behind the building and charges a small fee, and the Madison Irving Garage is located nearby. Final Payment

At the end of your event, we will present your final bill, which will include all food, beverages, rental items, room fees (if applicable), tax, and appropriate gratuity. Your advanced deposit will be deducted. Final payment is due on the day of the event. We accept cash, Visa, MC, AmEx, Discover, and personal or business checks.

Tax‑Exempt Payments

For tax‑exempt organizations, payment must be made using the official organization’s payment method in order for tax‑exempt status to be applied. Personal payments (cash, personal cards, or reimbursement‑based methods) cannot be accepted.
